COVID-19 Testing In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic that has swept the nation, the team at Citiwide is proud to offer patients two different types of COVID-19 testing and we’d be glad to provide your medical practice and patients with the same high-level testing we have our own clients.
We offer both types of COVID-19 tests:
- Viral Testing:
Viral testing for the COVID-19 virus allows us the identify whether patients are currently infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. While many patients will show clear signs of sickness, a large portion of those infected are asymptomatic and do not present with any outwardly identifiable symptoms at all. Therefore, in order to truly gauge whether or not a patient is infected, such viral testing is vital.
- Antibody Testing:
While it may not be able to reveal whether a patient is currently carrying the virus, antibody testing is just as important as viral testing.
